She's One!!!

I can't believe it... Last year at this time, we were at the hospital, holding this tiny new life in our arms. Now, our little girl is one! Her friends from baby group as well as aunts, uncles and cousin were here. She fell asleep 15 minutes before they all arrived, and only slept half an hour. So, she wasn't really quick at opening her gifts and didn't seem all that impressed with the cake! But, she made it through the party, and then crashed! I think that she slept over 2 hours! Poor little pet! I got all weird and emotional today... I think that it's all hitting home now that she's one and the "return-to-work" day is getting closer. Although I think that I'm ready, I know that I'm going to miss our special time together...

Christmas Day

It's hard to believe that our little girl's first Christmas has come and gone already... Here she is with one of her favorite toys, her castle from Santa. We made the mistake of having her opening it before other ones. She was too busy playing to open the others! She was quite spoiled and she hasn't gotten all of her gifts yet! Nana and Grampy got her a doll and a doll stroller and auntie Pam got her a baby Cabbage Patch, named Madisyn! I was impressed! We had a great Christmas day and were looking forward
to seeing the rest of our family later in the week!

Super Madie!

Since she had a fever yesterday, we stripped her down to her diaper. She loves her blankie and carries it around everywhere, but it is hard at itmes, when she's crawling. So, Chris tied it around her neck, like a cape. Suprisingly, she left it on for quite a while! Silly Goose! She was warm this morning, but Tylenol helped and her fever is down. Thank goodness!

I did it!

I have been reading other people's Blogs for a while now, but never felt like creating my own, until now. I'm no longer a Blog owner virgin! Our little goose is sick today... Not sure if it's her teeth or a cold. She has a high temp and a runny nose. Let's hope that she's better for Christmas and the big birthday party!
