Busy Weekend

Another weekend has come and gone... Times is just flying by! We had a pretty busy/steady weekend. Friday night, we went shopping for pajamas for Madie. It was pretty funny because the ones that I'd pick were obviously girly and the clothes that Chris kept showing were cute, but for boys. I asked him if he was trying to tell me something! We ended up getting two pairs; one is pink with purple butterflies and the other is green, with various coloured cars! Guess who picked what! Saturday night, we had a "Murder Mystery" at R & H. Guess who the murderer was?! Moi! Yup, I was a drug pusher, continuing the family business while my brother was in jail. Turns out the victim was going to blow my cover, so I poisoned her! Chris's character had violent psychotic tendencies if he didn't take his meds! The story was set at the "Sugar Shack Cafe", in 1963. I wore a dark pink poodle skirt and pigtails. Check out Chris's outfit! Needless to say, we all had a pretty good time!

We've discovered that our little girl loves to play outside. She doesn't really make it passed the walkway, becasue she stops and plays with the rocks, but she loves it. We have to watch her though, because she tries to eat them! She cries when we bring her in. We would stay out with her a little longer, but it's still a little chilly, so we don't want her to get cold!
We decided to stay here for Easter. We were home to each of our parents over March break, so we figured that we'd just take it easy. R & S invited us over for Easter dinner. I told her that I'd bring dessert. The recipe that I chose? Rocky Road Cheesecake! I love the Kraft "What's Cooking" magazine! I'll let you know how it turns out! Hey, only 2 more wake-ups 'til my birthday!!! Oh yeah. Still haven't heard from my brother! My dad told him about my Blog entry and he just laughed...
